Looking back looking forward

Wow 2011 was quite some year, but throughout we have seen Gods goodness and faithfulness. We are very grateful for His help through the chemotherapy months. We are very grateful for Rita’s recovery from the e-coli bug. We are very grateful for the full recovery Eliana has made from her scalding incident. There is no mark now anywhere on her skin. We are very grateful to the Lord for preserving my life in July, largely due to the hundreds of people who were praying for me.
We are very grateful for the remarkably swift recovery from that time and for the trips to Liverpool and Spain in the autumn and for his grace as we moved from Brighton to Kings Lodge at the end of November. We are very grateful for the wonderful Christmas we had with all the family and for those who made it possible for Sharon and Tim to come over from Canada. God is so good.
The above is this month’s TOGG on the BLOG.
Eliana giving out a christmas present from under the tree.
Asher with one of his birthday presents.
Cadin with great aunt Judy.
Hi Eliana will you speak to me when you are back in Canada?
On the health front I had a very good meeting with the oncologist last week who turns out to be a Christian. He feels the best way forward is for me to have a CT scan and from that he will decide the way forward. He has suggested radiotherapy which would not remove all the tumours (we are looking to Jesus to do that) but hopefully deal with a persistent cough. We came away really blessed by the meeting because he wanted to work around the various commitments we have. We couldn’t have asked for more.
So that's us. Sorry this blog is later than usual, we blame the move for that, but we hope to get our next blog out early February.
