Family fun and the Future

Looking out of the window here at Louise and Ian’s, it’s a cool day with grey skies. It hardly seems possible that we have been back in England now for over a month. We had a great send off from the Villa with a BBQ on the front porch on a glorious evening, lots of affirmation, prayer and some lovely gifts to remind us of our time in Spain. Here we are being presented with a photo album from Veta.
The DTS went very well and it was such a joy to share a word at the graduation ceremony and have the sense that for all the students their lives will never be the same again. Here is a photo of all the students, leaders and children. My colleague Johnny Dixon, will with other leaders, continue to run Schools, training and equipping people to take the good news of Jesus to places where it is rarely heard.
It has been so good to have Sharon, Tim and Eliana over from Canada staying at Ian and Louise’s. Early this month we all went down to Croyde in Devon for a week’s holiday. There we met up with our good friends Chris, Rosemary and their son James, also their dauhgter Pippa, Andrew and 7 month old Lucy. We had a great arrangement they went surfing and body boarding while grand parents looked after grandchildren. The perfect arrangement. Babies everywhere and here is one of the feeding times.

We are in Liverpool and travelling for most of August and will arrive back in Brighton at the end of the month. We will then seriously start looking for accommodation staying at my mums while we do that. We know God has a place for us. He has already provided us with a great car which has been brilliant for travelling with Tim, Sharon and Eliana. It’s an Eight year old Peugeot 307 only 40,000 on the clock, serviced regularly and at a price we are able to afford. It is from a couple who themselves are heading out onto the mission field to work with OM.
So we are beginning to settle back in the UK our time in Spain having come to a end but not as we can see our YWAM days. We are looking at taking a trip back into NA in the autumn and I have already got a number of speaking engagements lined up but the full picture of what we will be doing has yet to be revealed.
