Life Goes On
Rita arrived back from her time in Liverpool last Monday and had a mound of things to catch up on (ah the price of going away) but is now beginning to surface. We did take time to have an English breakfast the morning after her return to talk through our future. The DTS is going very well with good leadership in place and is nicely set up for the future, so my work here is done. It does feel that the time to move on has come and we will be talking through the options when our pastor from Brighton comes out in March, so please pray that we will have confirmation on the next step.
We are really enjoying talking with Louise and Sharon regularly on Skype and seeing the grandchildren. It is wonderful to see them grow and Eliana’s latest trick is to roll over. We are travelling out to see Sharon and Tim the middle of this month for 10 days making use of the voucher for £300 Rita received for being prepared to take a flight to Gatwick rather than Manchester last October. Asher is doing all the right things at his age, eat, sleep, poop and Louise has done so well in recovering from the pregnancy. Here is the happy family.
One of the joys of being involved with the planning of the DTS is I have a say in who comes to speak and this week we have Richard Thompson from Las Vegas with us. We go back with him to the early days in Liverpool and we last saw him seven years ago and it has been so good catching up with him. Here he is waxing eloquently to staff and students Well that’s it for this month.
