A Happy New Year.

Christmas seems a long way away but for us it has left us with lots of wonderful memories. We spent it in Canada with Sharon, Tim and Eliana. Here are some highlights to give you a flavour. Seeing Eliana’s face when she saw us at the airport, a big dump of snow the day after we arrived which stayed with us until the day we left. Out walking with a wind chill factor of -21 (we have never felt so cold) Eliana beginning to talk with Hi and Bye and lots more words now. Present opening on Christmas day. Grandad walking through the shopping mall with Eliana and hearing her say wow as she saw the Christmas lights and decorations. The fun games we played with Sharon and Tim. You get the idea. We really miss them.

When we got back we headed up to Liverpool for Asher’s first Birthday. Both sets of grandparents were there, camera’s flashing all over the place. Triple chocolate birthday cake made by Louise, (she is such a good cook) and Asher having help to blow out his candle stay in the mind. Other memories include Asher beginning to take his first steps and taking him to see his great grandma. Also going to the dentist ouch and just being with Ian and Louise. We weren’t there long but it was very special.

We are no now back in Brighton and it has been busy as I have been preaching in the church, catching up with admin and getting ready for Spain. We leave on Friday to spend the weekend with the head of our company out there, talking about future work opportunities in the region. We then visit two other countries before returning at the end of the month. I think then for a while our travels will be over. That’s it for this month.
Having run out of time no 'Togg on the Blog' this month.
